Toph Marshall is Professor in the Near Eastern Studies department at University of British Columbia. His research interests includes Greek and Roman theatre and stagecraft, ancient performance traditions, classical reception in English theatre (esp. early modern and 20th century) and in popular culture (comics, television, film), and women in ancient society.
